Our Story

The beat was first heard in 1961 when founders Lil and Edmond Hart decided to create their very own Carnival band – HARTS CARNIVAL.

Born from humble beginnings, the strong pulse of HARTS could not be ignored. It was not long before the Carnival band gained a reputation for breathtaking costumes and the experience of the ultimate family vibes on Carnival Monday & Tuesday.

Yet despite all of the praise, what separated this band from the rest was truly its genuine heart. With each passing year, friends turned into family, and the HARTS Carnival Band became home to hundreds of returning masqueraders.

As Trinidad and Tobago Carnival grew, so did the HARTS Carnival Band, and in 2015 HARTS joined the Ultimate Carnival family. With this new partnership, HARTS was able to maintain its identity as one of the longest standing Carnival bands in Trinidad and Tobago, while also providing masqueraders with a modern, premium experience.

Always searching for the perfect balance between past and present, the HARTS masqueraders have always kept their strong family ties and pure vibes.
